Peter A. Prazmowski
Since October 1, 2020, he has held the position of executive director of the National Competitiveness Council, appointed by decree 531-20.
Peter Prazmoswski worked as an advisor to the Group for National Productivity and Competitiveness of the Dominican Republic and to E. León Jiménez.
He holds a BA in economics and statistics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States, a Chevening MA in economics and econometrics from the London School of Economics at the University of London, and a doctorate (PhD) in economics from the University of Kingston in London.
He has published scientific articles nationally and internationally in the fields of public economics, monetary theory, macroeconomics and development economics, with an emphasis on the Dominican Republic.
He has written three books entitled "Stabilization", "Essays in Macroeconomics for the Dominican Republic and the development world" with José Sánchez-Fung and Amelia Santos Paulino, and "Gazebo, por un sueño país: retos que enfrenta la República Dominicana y las acciones para superarlos” with Xavier Sala-i-Martin and Enrique Darwin Caraballo.
